Three useful ways to narrow an idea

B2B workflow

Replace “AI for business” with a single recurring task and the person who owns its budget. Measure today’s time and rework before claiming savings.

Local service

Choose a neighborhood, customer situation and existing alternative. National market size alone does not establish demand in that location.

Consumer app

Choose a repeated moment of need. Ask what people already use and what would justify switching. Downloads and compliments are not repeat usage.

Questions before you start

What should I write before asking AI to evaluate an idea?

Describe one customer, a recent problem, their current alternative, your proposed improvement, who pays and what you have actually observed. Keep missing information explicit rather than inventing evidence.

Is this a complete business plan?

No. This is an early idea brief. It does not replace financial projections, operating plans, legal review or customer research. Use it to choose the next small experiment before writing a larger plan.

Does filling every field improve my score?

No. The planner only organizes your writing. AI scoring is a separate request, and the same evidence rubric applies to free and paid accounts.

Can I share without revealing my idea?

Yes. The new share card starts with a generic public title. It includes score, market, date and rubric, not your original input or detailed analysis. Review the card before sharing.

What should I do after receiving a score?

Start with the missing evidence shown in the weakest dimension. Use the free seven-day checklist to plan interviews and an experiment. Reassess after collecting evidence, not just to obtain a higher number.
